Who makes custom school track bottoms in Malaysia?
Gemilang Apparel makes custom school track bottoms in its own factory in Kajang, Selangor, and sells them direct to primary and secondary schools, PIBG and school vendors across Malaysia. Each order is made to your design: a straight or tapered cut in heavy-duty interlock polyester, a reinforced elastic waistband, deep zip pockets and optional single or double side piping in your school colours. Orders start from 30–50 pieces per design.

02 · The cut
Straight or tapered: which leg suits your school?
Gemilang Apparel cuts school track bottoms in two legs. A straight leg keeps much the same width from the hip down to the hem. A tapered leg narrows towards the ankle, so the hem sits closer to the foot. The drawing marks the difference at the knee and at the hem.
For a whole school, a straight leg is often the safer default: one cut has to fit the widest range of pupils, and a looser leg leaves more air around the legs on a hot, humid field. 03 · The piping
Which side piping should your school choose?
Side piping is the stripe that runs down the outside of each leg. On Gemilang Apparel’s track bottoms it is optional, and it comes three ways: none, a single stripe or a double stripe, made in your school colours.
Plain track bottoms are the quietest choice and keep the attention on the shirt. A single stripe is the classic school look; a double stripe is bolder from across a field. Send the piping colours with your brief and they show on the mockup.

04 · The fabric
Why heavy-duty interlock polyester?
Gemilang Apparel makes its school track bottoms in heavy-duty interlock polyester. For track bottoms that are worn for PE and sports days and washed through the school year, a fabric that holds its shape is the point.
What is interlock?
Interlock is a double knit. It is thicker, less stretchy and more stable than a single jersey, as the Pratt Institute’s textile library describes it.
The weight and feel of a fabric are best judged in the hand. With the mockup we recommend the fabric for your budget, and the physical sample lets the school check it before mass production. 07 · Ordering
How do you order school track bottoms from Gemilang Apparel?
Every Gemilang Apparel order runs the same four steps. You send a brief on WhatsApp: your school logo, your colours, a rough quantity and the date you need it by. We reply with a free digital mockup and a fabric recommendation for your budget. A physical sample comes next, and mass production starts only after you approve it. The finished track bottoms are couriered across Peninsular and East Malaysia, or collected from our factory in Kajang.
