Cara menempah · How to order

How to order school wear from our factory, in four steps.

Ordering custom school wear from Gemilang Apparel’s Kajang factory takes four steps. Send your school logo, colours, a rough quantity and target date on WhatsApp; Gemilang Apparel replies with a free digital mockup and a fabric recommendation; you approve a physical sample before mass production; then Gemilang Apparel couriers the order across Peninsular and East Malaysia, or you collect it from the factory. Orders start from 30–50 pieces per design.

00Sebelum mula · Before you message

What should a school sort out before the first message?

Send the first message to Gemilang Apparel whenever you are ready. Settling these five things inside the school first makes every later step shorter, because the people who approve the order already agree on what they want.

  • Who signs off. The teacher in charge, the PIBG committee or the Guru Besar or Pengetua. Name that person in the brief, so the one who approves sees the mockup and the sample.
  • What you are ordering. The minimum is counted per design, so list each garment you want on its own line.
  • A rough size spread. Sizes run from Standard 1 to Form 6; a count of pupils per year is enough to start.
  • The colours the school has agreed. School colours for track bottoms and their piping; the six house colours for house T-shirts.
  • The date it is for. Sports day, a new school term, a uniform-body event.

Getting the logo file and the colour names right is its own small job: our guide on how to order custom school track bottoms in Malaysia goes through both.

01Hantar brief · Send the brief

Step 1: what goes in the WhatsApp brief?

Every Gemilang Apparel order starts with one WhatsApp message to +60 11-2961 7192. The brief is four things, listed below. A phone photo of the logo is enough to start the conversation; a clean file makes a sharper mockup.

You send
Logo, colours, a rough quantity and a target date. Add the school’s name and the garments you want.
We use it for
Your free digital mockup, the fabric we recommend for your budget, and the minimum for each design.
Not sure yet?
Send what you have. A rough number and a month are enough to begin; the rest can follow in the same chat.

Gemilang Apparel’s factory is open Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. You can also call the same number.

02Mockup percuma · Free mockup

Step 2: what comes back with the free digital mockup?

Gemilang Apparel replies with a free digital mockup: your garment drawn with your logo and your colours, so the school sees the design before any fabric is cut. A fabric recommendation for your budget comes with it. For track bottoms the fabric is heavy-duty interlock polyester; for house T-shirts we recommend breathable microfiber (eyelet or interlock) or combed cotton for your budget.

The mockup is also where you settle how your logo goes on: silkscreen printing, sublimation or computerised embroidery, all done in our own factory. Our guide on printing your school logo on track bottoms compares the three.

Step 3: why does a physical sample come before mass production?

Because a screen cannot show how a garment feels or fits. Gemilang Apparel makes a physical sample first, and mass production starts only after you approve it. It is the step where the school says yes, so put the sample in front of the people who will live with the order.

Four things a buyer checks before saying yes

  • Colour

Hold it next to the uniform pupils wear now, in daylight: school colours read differently indoors.

  • Logo

Check the spelling, the size and where it sits, and look at the print or stitching up close.

  • Fit and feel

Try it on a pupil it is meant for: the waistband, the length, room to run. Feel the weight of the fabric.

  • Approve

When the school is happy with it, say so on WhatsApp. Mass production starts after that.

04Hantar atau ambil · Delivery

Step 4: courier or collection from Kajang?

When the order is finished, Gemilang Apparel gets it to the school one of two ways: by courier across Peninsular and East Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak included, or you collect it yourself from the factory in Kajang, Selangor. Say which you want in your first message, and where the school is.

Courier

Across Peninsular and East Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak included. Give us the delivery address and a contact at the school.

Collection

From the factory in Kajang, Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Ask us on WhatsApp for directions when you arrange the pickup.

Ask on WhatsApp for timing, delivery cost and payment terms, with your quantity, your date and where the school is. The questions on our homepage cover delivery and ordering too.

Minimum & saiz · Sizes

How many pieces, and which sizes can a school order?

Gemilang Apparel’s orders start from 30–50 pieces per design. Send your brief and we confirm the minimum for each design, or ask us to confirm it before you send the rest.

Sizes follow the school years: standard school sizing from primary Standard 1 to secondary Form 6, in MOE colours and cuts. For T-shirts, our homepage carries the factory’s size chart in four cuts, measured in inches: round neck, round neck for kids, collar T-shirt and Muslimah.

Track bottoms and trousers

For their measurements in each size, ask us on WhatsApp, with your brief or before it.

Satu proses · One process

Does every garment go through the same four steps?

Yes. Gemilang Apparel’s main line is track bottoms and trousers, and the house T-shirts, koko shirts and ties it makes with them go through the same brief, mockup, sample and delivery. What changes is what your brief has to decide.
